We regularly visit this area and make use of the information centres to enable us to get a better understanding of the environment. It would be a dreadful shame if these facilities were not available.

This appears a short-sighted and backward step ... This petition needs to be circulated widely to ensure maximum impact ... The Visitor Centre is a wonderful resource for everyone interested in enjoying the landscape and culture. Keep it please!

no no no! Such a beautiful spot for tourists to visit the beacons, would be a great loss for brecon and surrounding area, would affect business throughout the local area.

BBNP will be throwing away it's best interface with the general public, who need to know that BBNP is more valuable than just a Planning Authority. And BBNP needs public support to continue to exist. An ill-thought out plan !

I had my first holiday in the BBNP last summer, and loved it…please do not dilute any aspect of it, especially any info centres. Thanks.

Crazy to close this. I take loads of walking groups there, lovely place to finish a walk, would be much missed.

Something that is vital for visitors, should be retained.

As a regular visitor to the area the visitors' centre is a much valued stop over.

It would be tragic if this beautiful place closed.

Britain needs to hold on to its heritage, we must stop it being termed valueless and slowly stripped or sold off.....

Closure of this centre would be so counter-productive to the tourism plan for the Brecon Beacons National PArk - the public need to be able to access good quality information.

I am horrified at the prospect of this centre closing. Who stands to benefit from converting it to offices?

I cannot believe that the proposal to close these centres has even been suggested

This is a valuable resource for the community that shouldn't be lost. Savings should come from elsewhere for example sharing back office functions with the council or health board.
