The Blackburn End drummers at Blackburn Rovers FC are not contributing anything to the atmosphere at Ewood Park. In fact they can be counter-productive and have even been known to break up songs which would otherwise have created a much livelier atmosphere. Many on the fans' forums claim to give up starting to sing because the song will be spoilt by drumming without any rhythm. Blackburn Rovers are no longer in decline and therefore no longer need an artificial atmosphere.
