Petition to Tampa City Council and Mr. Casper

I love the idea- just the wrong location. Seriously- talk to A board of advisors and get some other location suggestions- the city would welcome an elegant club - just not in our neighborhood. Perhaps the Dana Shores or Rocky Point area or the Heights could use the upgrade as it is developing and is commercial already. Bayshore blvd needs to be left 100% residential.

I think the vision of a private club is fine- just move it to Davis island and buy three lots so you have plenty of space and won’t bother folks- or better yet- build something amazing I The new developing area on the river. Can you imagine the pictures? The area near Ulele and North is a great area to build something incredible- and not disrupt one of the oldest most established neighborhoods in Tampa. For 20 million you could have a palace and the neighbors would beg for it: it could be an icon and you could make history. The current location isn’t big enough and isn’t commercial and never should be. You would never see this in Buckhead in Atlanta or other areas that have this type of residential status. Please preserve our neighborhood- and move the location. I can only imagine the first prestigious gorgeous custom built palace on the shores of the river.....

I don't feel this project is conducive to our neighborhood.

This is a neighbor, not a niteclub area/scene.

We do not need this type of establishment in our neighborhood. It is time to stop approving the request of every developer and think about our neighborhoods.

I own my home directly down from this house 1 block away and is our route to walk/ride bikes on Bayshore with 2 small children and 2 dogs. I will be very disappointed if this project gets approved for rezoning and effects my everyday life!

A bed and breakfast located in a residential neighborhood is one thing. A social club with a large parking area which sells alcohol 7 days a week in an otherwise quiet residential neighborhood is a different animal altogether. My greatest concern is the safety hazard posed by drastically increasing traffic flow on these narrow neighborhood streets--not to mention the increased risk to those who drive, bike, and walk down this area of Bayshore. We really have to think about the precedent we are setting.

Allowing a commercial enterprise in this residential neighborhood should never be permitted.

OPPOSED!

This project is not consistent with the surrounding neighborhood. Allowing it to move forward would not only have negative effects on the surrounding neighborhood but would also be used a precedent on potential future projects. This stretch of Bayshore is all single family residential and should remain that way.

Keep Bayshore Beautiful with families not a Bed and Breakfast. Find another place for it

Keep clubhouses out of the neighborhoods of Bayshore.

I want to continue to live in a residential neighborhood. Not a commercial or mixed use neighborhood.

No commercial businesses in our residential neighborhood.

We do NOT want extra vehicles or drunks in the area.

We do not want additional traffic on our street. Further, I doubt you will stick to your currently "promised" limitations re membership, hours of operation, liquor sales, special events, etc. You will want to grow the concept, marginally, but over the years, substantially. Years from now, my quiet street will look nothing like the street you "promised."

Great idea but not there!

Bayshore Beautiful needs to remain a residential neighborhood. A exclusive club doesn't belong there.

I am against the proposal for the Stovall House/project.
