My wife and I moved to this area last year because of the school assignments, specifically because our son would be going to Basswood ELementary and Maple Grove Senior High. We would be very disapointed if the boundaries changed and our son and future children were not able to go to these schools. Please do not change the boundaries.

We are new residents to the area and basswood + maple grove hs was a key deciding factor in our decision to build in this location. Very disappointed to hear about this potential change.

Why is this being pushed through with little to no notification to all residents impacted by this decision?! Though my husband and I have no school-aged children, we are still entitled to be part of this discussion - we purchased here knowing our property value would be strong based on the school!

Why don't you have the 2 new neighborhoods be zoned to Oakview? Census area 284 has been in place for over 17 years- the new construction is less than 1 year!!

I send my children to private school but I am a concerned neighbor and believe this is a terrible idea by District 279.

We do not want to see our fine Basswood school lines changed to a lower scored elementry school. We like how close it is to our neighborhood and it is always rated very high in the school district.
I recently purchased a home in this area and bought becuase of the wonderful school district. To change now seems unjust and unfair.

one of the main drivers for our home selection was due to the location within the basswood elementary boundaries. we do not support the change without consideration of other alternatives

I am most concerned about the fact that other alternatives have not been discussed and open enrolled students approximate the number of students who would be displaced under this proposal.
