I fully support the petition...how do we know if my kid would be affected by the rezoning? Why don't they just stop open enrollments wouldn't that be an easier option to solve the problem rather than taking our kids out and transferring them to a low ranked school...this is not fair for the kids!!

Please don't change boundaries. It's not fair to the kids.
We moved here from Plymouth specifically expecting Basswood and Maple Grove High school. We will move if you expect us to go to Oakview and Osseo. Simple as that.
Please do not change the expectations of many families that purchased homes in this area of Minnesota explicitly because of the school options afforded to them.

When our children built in Plymouth they were told this is the school our granddaughter would attend. Now 6 months later they are told differently.

Homes are purchased in Plymouth with schools as a big deciding factor. My daughter is extremely happy at Basswood, and I would hate to have her move.

This sounds like more political crap and some ones getting their pckets filled on the shoulders of our backbone of our country , our children. Doesn't anyone care about the kids these days, what kind of country do we live in these days . lThis is a bunch of crap and the kids shouldn't have to move. why can't you bring additional buildings to house the kids so they don't have to move . again some one is making lots of bucks on this decision. If you live in the community , you shouldn't have to move to a differeent school

My kids attend a charter school within the Osseo district boundaries. However, we currently do live in the Basswood boundaries that are being considered changing to Oak View. So, while this doesn't directly impact my family, it does have a negative impact on my home value. More consideration is needed before making such a huge decision that affects many things, not just overcrowding.

Please consider other options prior to changing the zoning so quickly. These are great schools which were a deciding factor when purchasing our home!

I find this a bit ridiculous when there are 4 high schools CLOSER to Plymouth than sending our children to Osseo, which is over 10 miles away.
