No one should be homeless in this day and age even more of a disgrace that a person that was willing to fight and risk getting killed for his country should end up like this. I,m sure if this was done plenty of people would donate furniture and anything to help them settle in a home.

Excellent idea. Let the Ex Service men use their skills to renovate/adapt the barracks and run it. Will give them a great purpose in life.
