I agree, having been there as a recruit in the 1970's it would be ideal. It would need the likes of the ABF & SSAFA etc to help as there are many who need more then just accommodation. Great idea.

While I wouldn't want to see ex forces consigned to camps as such, the various disused military bases could be well utilised as half way houses to help get our ex military homeless back on onto an even keel

After starting my Army career at Folkestone then a further 9 months at Bassingbourn this place holds great memories for me and what a great idea to have all homeless servicemen living together with a sense of purpose and camaraderie

Let this happen every one deserves a home and if they have put their life on bold for use we should do something in return.
