It's shameful that it's come to this at all! After everything these people have done for us they should be placed at the top of housing lists as a matter of course and in the meantime good standard hotel accomodation should be used. They risked their damn lives for us and just because they're "home" don't think they aren't still suffering because of the things they saw and what does our government do? NOTHING!

Many soldiers have given so much for our beloved country and we as a nation owe them so much. M.P's should do more to show this gratitude that we owe them. This is from what I can see as a very self sustainable and may help them all get work again etc and live normal lives away from the streets. I fully support this as a fantastic idea and hope it gets the backing it deserves..

I did my basic training there some great times. Good luck to them all its a shame that it has come to this we do good for our country but our country do nothing in return its disgusting.

I lived in the married quarters at Bassing bourn and know the camp well, this would be a perfect place for the homeless soldiers.

What a great idea our solders should not have to worry about where they will sleep tonight after all the horrible things they have seen and been through
