On another thought; can you imagine if we manage to get all the old cold war vehicles on show there maintained by old REME blokes and driven by old soldiers on open days, the QM fired up again, med centre already there for those who need it or street guys just in who need a bit of TLC..if only we could make it happen..

what a fantastic idea, could also turn the place into a museum, what with duxford just down the road, being used by the USAF during the war, we could call on the good O'l US of A for donations after all the fatal plane crash of Glenn Miller took off from there as well as the now famous 'Liberty Bell B17, also could be used as a modern take on the Chelsea Pensioners, got my support 110%...Den
