If I were a member of the City Council that wanted to secure the future of the City of Scottsdale, I would purchase all available lots around 128th Street and Shea, and would donate them to my BASIS Scottsdale! Then it could fit even more students in the planned Scottsdale campus than fits just 1,200. BASIS must be able to provide a BASIS education not just to 1,200 students, but to 5,000; 10,000; every student in Arizona and all states, if they can.
Yet, here we are, discussing whether BASIS Scottsdale should be allowed to locate at 128th St & Shea simply because a few neighbors don’t want traffic disturbing their properties, and don’t want the best school in the nation obstructing their view of Scottsdale Mtn. I say, SHAME ON THEM!
We are thousands of parents, most of which, are City of Scottsdale residents and voters! They are just a few. Think of THIS when you vote on this project. We WILL be there watching!

I am a future parent of a Basis student and current Mayo Clinic Scottsdale employee and believe that these updates would be sufficient for the changes in traffic that would occur due to the relocation of the school.

I strongly support Basis to have its building constructed at 128th St and Shea. It is the best school and Scottsdale cannot afford to lose this school from the city.
