Yes, our city needs income to support growth. But this is not the way. I do not want to risk my quality of life or my children’s education so we can entice developers.

What is the rush? What happened to the items the city council had already made as other priorities in its long range plan?

Since we are spending the peoples money - let the people decide. We have many other priorities that are more important than sitting in the sun when it is 100 degrees.

Guys - a little late in the game. Where we folks when the zoning was going on. I dont remember many from Mountain Brooke HOA standing before the Council and expressing their opinion. Madison City is so far into a local developers influence I dont see having any success with a petition. Vote the Mayor and City Council out of office is one way to bring responsible fiscal change.

We need a say!!! Road work now is more important to me now. I now avoid going to business areas on 72 especially on the weekends, due to the bumper to bumper traffic. Once that is settled then let's concentrate on a stadium that has more convenient access. Plus would like to see more than dirt at Town Madison. To many projects and no return is going to get us in a real bad situation.

Pushing this through without a citizen vote on the matter is not good government.

We need to put this to a special vote by the CITIZENS of Madison, and only AFTER we're given ALL of the information.

Do not authorize or commit to any more planning or expenditures or bonds without approval by voters in a referendum.

I do not want Madison taxpapers' money paying for the proposed stadium. We need a citizen's referendum on the issue.

Because the Huntsville Stars made the City of Huntsville so much money, and that's why they're still here. Oh they're aren't!

I don't want my tax dollars going towards building a baseball stadium that the Mayor said in a TV conference "should break even". Please focus on schools and sidewalks within the city. Thank you!

City schools and infrastructure should be first priorities for any potential bond proposals.
