Barrow county can't even fix the existing infrastructure (Storm drains, road repairs, congestion). How is adding high density housing going to do anything but further exacerbate the issues mentioned?
Until 211 has been widened all the way to Friendship Road, additional development along this corridor is only harming those who have already invested in the area.
Following these road improvements, all new developments shall be required to cover their impact to the infrastructure (storm, sewer, traffic, police and fire) at a higher tax rate. Barrow county is grossly underfunded in all of these areas. Why should residents who've been here for 20+ years pay higher taxes and receive no additional benefits? The infrastructure was sufficient when we moved here at the tax rates we paid (inflation adjusted). The additional tax burden should be born by those moving to the area.

This project would be across the street from my house. I strongly oppose because of increase traffic, burden on the school system, lower property values.

Please do not add. These homes will not add any value to surrounding neighborhoods. This area is already congested. We moved to the area for peace and quiet not more traffice.

We don't need more development, more congestion, more traffic! Just look at what is happening in over crowded Gwinnett county and the Commissioners keep approving more developments. STOP the madness, our water system, schools, police and fire infrastructures can't handle all this growth, let alone our roads!!!!!!

Moved to Winder area for the benefits it offered, two of which, were the lack of Traffic and the open spaces. Those Apartments are deffinetly a NO for me. Oppose CASE # RZ 2020022.

NO! Too much traffic already on 211 and it’s a nightmare going from County Line Rd crossing 85 to Friendship Rd.
