Barrow County Residents Against High Density Housing

It’s already too crowded.

Please reject this zoning. The current infrastructure cannot support the influx of additional new residents . We’ve been waiting years for a light or round a bout at hwy 211 and covered bridge and still nothing. No way is this county ready to deal with growth.

It is insane to add this much congestion and traffic to Hwy 211. Before any further developments are considered, much less approved, they need to address the daily bottlenecks from Hwy 124 to Friendship Rd on Hwy 211.

We do not need apartments here in Braselton or the surrounding areas. We have entirely too much traffic as it is and our roads can’t handle what we have now.

Don’t ruin our neighborhood by putting in apartments.

HWY 211 is a very dangerous road. The amount of traffic on a daily basis keeps growing. A 5 minute commute a year ago now takes 15 minutes or more. If I don’t leave for work by 6:30 I can forget turning across traffic. The road is not equipped to handle the traffic it has currently. What makes barrow county think 211 can handle another huge development.

Traffic is already bad. 211 can’t handle another 1000 cars a day.

We moved here years ago to get away from the Atlanta suburban madness. For some peace and quiet. With all the new subdivisions springing up, our peace is being destroyed. From litterbugs to loud music and worse traffic, things are on the decline. We MUST stop development and overcrowded subdivisions. We should NOT become another Atlanta suburb. We have about 4 new subdivisions within two miles of us, and just heard they are planning on building another HUGE subdivision on the land behind us. THIS NEEDS TO STOP NOW. Out entire way of life is being stolen from us. All for money. Don't let what happened to Kennesaw... and Woodstock... and etc etc happen to this community.

No high-density housing in Barrow county!!

The congestion will be detrimental to the area and unideal for any residents (future and current). A developer’s endeavors will be more successful in a less congested area.

Stop the process to building those houses That’s not helping the community around it will decrease the safety around and the beautiful land will be destroyed.

Please keep Georgia the beautiful state green.To built so many houses is not safe for people and it will ruin the community.That area should keep the same with those green forest not overwhelming with houses .

This is NOT good growth. In any aspect! Built up far too much already. Very quickly turning into Atlanta! Already over-populated, crime infested and obscene traffic. Disgusting to be exact. I for one will ne moving after all these years. Many I know were smart...they moved at the onset. Very sad, disappointing and a shame to see what's become of Barrow. Specifically Bethleham & Winder. And continuing to worsen.
