Barrow County Residents Against High Density Housing

Growth can be good when executed correctly. Building high density housing in this area of our community will make traffic even more impassable and will increase crime in the area. Schools are already limited with funds and space for our kids. The traffic is already bad.

Please help keep areas of our community rural, green, and clean! Not every square inch needs to be covered in buildings and businesses!

I oppose the development. There is enough traffic in that area as it is. This is not positive growth.

This is just about the stupidest thing I've seen. The commissioners would have to be crazy to approve this. They need to be fired if they do!

School system can’t handle the sudden increase in the student population. Tax payers pay while someone else collects the rent.

Until traffic lights are installed on Hwy. 211 at Old Hog Mountain Rd. and County Line Rd there should not be any development of any kind in this area.

I am in opposition of this new construction, the whole reason my husband and I moved our family to this area was because of the rural feel of the area while still allowing us to be close to the city, the good schools that aren’t over crowded and the general safe feeling that the area brings. Building apartments and destroying the wildlife and general rural area not only destroys the area in terms of property value but it will also increase crime, and further urbanize an area that is desired because of its rural environment.

We love our city how it is.

Highway 211 is too crowded already

Please don’t add any developments that will increase traffic on 211. It is already so dangerous and scary. We need improvements at Mulberry road and Old Hog Mtn as it is already!

too much traffic, too many accidents, schools over crowded. Suppose to be a single family area only. Hwy 211 and Hwy 124 needs work! Freeman Johnson is almost impossible to get out of now. Put some effort into the problems we already have instead of trying to add more in this area!

We don't need Crime, Thies, and Murdering in our community like Dekalb County and Gwinett Co. This type Housing will Bring!!!!
