I loved see him in the stands wearing the Broncos cowboy hat and the barrel. I never got a chance to see him in person, but I know he was able to bring smiles to the faces of every Broncos fan.

In my more than 40 years in Denver plus 16 years after leaving Colorado, I can think of no other fan more deserving of this honor than Tim McKernan. He was and always will be the ultimate Broncos fan. I sure miss him.
