I have been a fan since 1984, I made my only trip out to Denver to watch them play in 1998. I remember seeing the Barrel Man and getting his picture. No other fan is more thought of to represent their team than him. I think the fans deserve to recognize him for all the great memories he has given us.

Grew up watching the Broncos 50 yard line right behind the Broncos 18th row. I remember barrel man being one of my favorite fans.

Dear Mr Bowlen and Mr Elway
I worked in the Climax mine in Leadville Colo. for 35 years,until 1982 when it was closed down, my boys were born in leadville and grew up with the Denver Broncos ( the worlds best Team) as far as we were conserned,till today they are still that, even when John threw the ball so fast that the rest of the Broncos were having trouble catching it. threw all those years,there was the famous BARREL MAN, my family could hardly wait for him to come on the screen, He Was There Santa Claus.
to day I am asking you to consider inducting the Barrel Man into the Broncos Ring Of Fame, we all feel that he was an ICON to the Denver Broncos and would well deserve the induction.

I´m a from Germany and The Barrel Man was, and still is, a part of the Denver Broncos!
He belongs @ Mile High, so give him the playce where he belongs....The Ring of Fame

I grew up on the Broncos, and don't remember seeing or attending a game and not seeing The Barrel Man. He is as much a part of Broncos history as any player, coach, or stadium. If any fan, anywhere, in any sport deserves this distinction, Mr. McKernan is top of the list.
