Hope you Remember Racist Joe Biden’s famous quote "If you have a problem figuring out whether you're for me or Trump, then you Ain't Black," translation, If You Don’t Vote for Me, ‘You Ain’t Black’, that said, All Black Americans should wake up and challenge the ill-educated anti-American BLM to explain HOW looting and rioting, arson attacks on private businesses , rampant violence and lawlessness protesting, stomping and burning the U.S.A. flag, vandalizing and toppling Civil War statues and monuments, there by Erasing the History of the Pro-slavery, Pro-lynching, Spread Hating, and currently the True Racist Democratic Party which was Proudly Known Historically as The Slaveholding Confederate States of America, stop blacks from murdering each other in record numbers every weekend in Democrat-run cities and states ONLY? Why does BLM believe black lives ONLY matter when they are harmed or killed by a white person, especially a white cop and not by black hoodlum? (Think) Where are the multitude of protesters, mourners, and televised funeral services from BLM for the deaths of Black men, women, children, and cops killed by black thugs across America's major cities? The truth is BLM does not care about blacks as more Black Americans are killed by blacks then by cops. Well, the fact is, All Lives Matter (ALM). It is Sad, Insulting, and Degrading that Black Americans Today after all this Years have Forgotten (Think) who the Real Racists have Been and Continue to be, namely, the Democrats.

Change the name!! If you don't like President Barack Obama, and I can't imagine why not, maybe John Lewis, or if it has to be local Zan Wesley Holmes or Emmett Conrad.

Dallas must work to immediately rename everything in the city associated with prominent Klu Klux Klan member, R.L. Thornton. Does Dallas believe that the KKK is an organization with "very fine people"? Can people be "very fine" if they are members of the KKK? I should hope the answer to both of these questions would be a resounding NO. No matter the amount of money or work this individual may have contributed to Dallas in his time, the fact that he was a KKK member is enough to disqualify him as a positive historical figure generally or as the namesake of important landmarks in Dallas. This is a matter of paperwork, logistics, and effort. It certainly can be done. This is important and would be a great symbolic gesture to show the city and this country that Dallas is moving forward towards an awakening unlike any other. We know our history and we forbid racism to continue to rule behind the scenes. I hope to see this done and will continue to rally for support in seeing this through to completion.

If we really want Dallas to be seen as the great city that it is, we have to do away with the remnants of our ugly past.

All the years I've traveled on those two highways, I never thought their namesake was a leader of the KKK. It'seems disappointing and a damn shame. I am so down for Barack Obama being a better name. Let's go!

I fully support this cause. President Barack Obama served this country with dignity and integrity. I highly respect him as our former leader. President Obama showed dedication, concern and loyalty to our citizens. President Obama should be given the honor of having his name on the freeway that has been tarnished by the name of ex-Dallas Mayor and Ku Klux Klan member R.L. Thorton. It's time for Americans to band together as one people and one voice United against racism.

Maybe consider a name other than Barack Obama...there's plenty of rich Black history in Dallas.
