The county will hold public hearings to consider the amendment as follows: Local Planning Agency (LPA): Friday, June 29th 2018, 9:00a.m., Zoning, Planning and Building Department, 1st Floor Hearing Room 1W-47, 2300 North Jog Rd, West Palm Beach, FL. Board of County Commissioners (BCC): Thursday, July 26th 2018, 9:30a.m., 6th Floor Chambers, 301 North Olive Ave., West Palm Beach, FL. A hearing will be held by the Zoning Commission to review the concurrent zoning request on Monday, July 9th 2018 at the same time and location as the LPA hearing above. Please note that if the Zoning Commission postpones the zoning application, the BCC hearing date may also be postponed. Comments may be provided at the public hearings and/or submitted in writing to Senior Planner / Project Manager, Michael Howe at Palm Beach County Department of Planning, Zoning and Building 2300 North Jog Rd, West Palm Beach, FL 33411-2741.

I am opposed to this high density proposed zoning change on a road that is already challenged with traffic.

This area cannot support high density housing. The schools are already to capacity the traffic tie ups are well known.

Traffic will become a big problem on Barwick, Coconut Lane, and even Lake Ida!

This will bring more unnecessary traffic to an immediate school zone.

We do not need me congestion in this area. I oppose plans for additional real estate in an already congested area.

NO! for so many reasons... 1.This area is much too congested already. Traffic would be a nightmare. 2. Rentals bring property values down - and bring undesirables into a family neighborhood. 3. There would be more accidents on Barwick Rd. 4. Children would be at risk going to school and coming home. How many more children have to die on Barwick while riding skateboards (remember Austin Miller?), bikes, or just walking? THIS CANNOT HAPPEN! IT'S RIDICULOUS
