The potential traffic volume so close to a school zone has too great a chance for an accident to occur or worse a tragedy with children walking to and from school. The road is heavily traveled as it is without a mutli-family dwelling being built. The congestion will create a problem for the entire length of Barwick from Lake Ida to Coconut with this type of building in place.

I have lived in Sabal Lakes since 1994 and it is very congested now with all the additional developments that have gone up in the past 24 years. I am opposing this zoning change.

Barwick Road is already congested, we don't need more cars on this road. This is going to be a nightmare if this is approved

Development is growing too rampant in Delray. What are the zoning laws in this area? I would like to read additional information if possible. Thank you.

In my opinion, this is an absolutely terrible idea. Barwick Road is already a nightmare in the mornings and afternoons. The LAST thing the children going to school need are more vehicles zooming by them. I'm positive there are better places in Delray Beach to build this apartment complex. Please do not build this!!!

Opposed
The traffic studies used for approval are not current and do not reflect the huge projects under construction in the area. We have suffered fatalities due to congestion.

We live in Bexley Park and are strongly opposed to this development which will have a hugely negative impact on already congested Barwick Road traffic and on traffice through our neighborhood attempting to get to the development. This project should not be approved.

This area is zoned residential. It is densely populated. If more development happens, the road will be to congested.

The area will get crowded. There should be an alternative use of the land other than building apartments.

While I am all for affordable housing, with out the mandate to expand both Barwick and Flavor Pic roads, this new development will clog an already congested neighborhood beyond bursting.

My family and I have lived here almost 20 yrs now and there has been so many complexes added to Barwick road. This road is so crowded now its almost impossible to get out of my street (Sunrise Blvd) when school starts and when the kids are released Barwick road is unable to be traveled on and I can never get to my house at those times because everyone is at grid lock. So building a 102 unit complex is the most stupidest thing to do to our neighborhood. Don't understand why you would even consider a complex here.
