Banyan Cove Petition in Opposition to Proposed Land Use Change

The traffic on Barwick rd is already ridiculous and this will put a even bigger strain on those whom control traffic for the school

Further traffic congestion will endanger out children's lives - we have already had tragedies on Barwick Road. Please do not allow a rental community to be built there - the back ups are already problematic. Vote no! Dr. Terryl Lawrence

Against this project

I absolutely oppose to this or any other residential development in our neighborhood other than single family homes.

The added congestion to the roads will be a danger to us all.

every morning and afternoons the traffic is unbelievable busy as it is now I just don't want to imagine what it will be like if the allow the construction of rental buildings in Barwick road. I agree we do not need more congestion which also increases accidents.

I oppose construction of the 53 unit apartment complex on Barwick Road. This is a single lane road in a single-family home community. Approval of this complex will be a disservice to the home owners who live on or along Barwick and will add to the already significant traffic congestion during the school year, on weekends, etc. I walk along this road in the mornings and southbound traffic backs up up to the canal right along where this complex is planned. North bound traffic backs up onto Lake Ida. We do not want an apartment complex in our neighborhood. Vote No!

There are already traffic problems due to the school. We do not want more problems with traffic.

We have lived in this community for 23 years and have enjoyed the easy accessibility to Sabal Lakes and Banyan Creek Elementary. Adding this complex will add traffic congestion and increase the chances of accidents in and around Banyan Creek Elementary. Also having a complex adjacent to the school is not acceptable with children playing on the school grounds.

Please do not rezone and build appartment complex in a neighborhood of single family homes

I oppose this rezoning of an apartment complex. There is already too much traffic on Barwick Road especially on school days. Only one way out of Sabal Lakes and that onto Barwick Road.

I am opposed of this development due to the amount of traffic on Barwick Road and the school zone traffic. Apartment complexes will devalue single family homes in the area.

It is bad enough that the city cut the level of traffic control from a community with only 2 entrances/exits on the same busy road. An accident waiting to happen. This will likely make things worse, in addition, an apartment complex would have a negative effect on our property values.

More housing will create unsafe conditions.. Please stop Banyan Cove building.
