SELAMATKAN TAMAN RIMBA KIARA.
Kami membantah keras cadangan pembinaan blok pangsapuri 29 tingkat mampu milik (350 unit) dan 8 blok servis apartment 42-54 tingkat (1,766 unit) di lot Pt. 9244 off Jalan Tun Mohd Fuad, bersebelahan Taman Awam Berskala Besar Bukit Kiara. Pembangunan ini bakal:
- menambahkan kepadatan penduduk dari 74 orang kepada 979 orang seekar yang akan menjejaskan tahap seselesaan penduduk dan pengunjung
- menyebabkan kesesakan dari segi lalulintas terutama di waktu puncak
- menjadi punca kerosakan alam sekitar di Taman Rimba Kiara
TTDI is under serious threat of over-development. You can stop this.

Although it is good news for the Bukit Kara longhouse dwellers as they could get their affordable housing promised by the government more than 30 years ago, but taking a shortcut by using a developer to build it for them in return for the rights to develop the site is blatantly irresponsible at the expense of robbing the entire community of their basic right to enjoy the park. Meanwhile, Memang Perkasa, which is an affiliation of the Malton / Pavillion Group stands to generate a gross revenue of RM6 to RM8 billion and a gross profit of RM2 Billion, only needs to fork out a meagre RM90 million to built 350 affordable housing for the longhouse dwellers. This is truly a dream deal for the few people behind it !
Thank you for organising this, but more people need to know what a reckless, shortsighted move this development is. I will be at the protest on Sunday.
there are still a lot of land in other areas for development and whatever money still needs to be squeezed from our land. Greens must be preserved especially in the world today, for the future. By allowing this, the people in power, as well as the owners of the company don't seem to want their children to have a Malaysia as beautiful and liveable as the one they grew up in.
Its not about global warming anymore...its disaster! DBKL should really understand the significant of good urban planning & enviromental and socio politic impact in such development. As an architect im really opposed this. Dont repeat the same thing like what DBKL did to Kampung Baru!
Global Warming, we need more greens around us. In "Buku Wawasan DBKL 2020" it stated that , Bukit Kiara, Rimba Kiara is a reserve forest and green lung , We dont need any extra residences in TTDI, We are happy as it is. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH !!!!!!!

The open space of Taman Rimba Kiara, TTDI and forest hills of Kampong Sungei Penchala are meant to be preserved together according to the Kuala Lumpur structure plan 2020.
