I have been reading the stories some of you left about your own health struggles because of secondhand smoke. These experiences remind me exactly why I started this fight for clean air in our workplaces. I am currently reaching out to local representatives to ensure our message reaches their desks.

Seeing this grow so quickly reminds me of the nights I spent in hospital waiting rooms watching my father struggle to breathe in smoke-filled hallways. This momentum proves that people across the state are finally ready to prioritize our collective health over outdated habits.

My kids have bad asthma and it sucks we cant even go out to eat without someone lighting up at the next table. DO IT.
Finally! I am tired of having to hold my breath every time I walk into a restaurant. My clothes smell like an ashtray by the time I get home.

its about time nc caught up with the rest of the country. smoke puts everyone in danger. keep the public clean.
