As a responsible citizen of India i would like to register my grievance against MTV India.You are requested to accept my plea to take appropriate & discipline action against the said satellite braodcasting channel. On the occasion of our Independence day anniversary recently, i happened to watch a video on MTV, the content which was our national anthem being preformed by various artists. To my utter shock and against those disciplines, that every indian has been taught since birth, - these artsists were dancing and making faces of every kind during their performance. The whole music band is never in the attention position during the entire performance. Icing on the cake are the female models on the stage during the performance. The produces of the video even dare to disrespect the national flag of india in the backdrop, which is an animated version but full of blinking awful variants of the original colours , which many indians wont agree to. I was ashamed to see such a cruel treatment of the respectable national anthem. To the agony of the people who respect their country, this video come as an utter shock and irritation. The said channel has been telecasting this song on regular intervals without any fears... As a layman, I am not aware of the constitutional terms, codes and conducts related to National Anthem and usage of National flag, but one thing we can be sure of is that no nation would want such a treatment for their own national anthem & flag.
