MNET/DSTV through its broadcast of the Big Brother Reality TV show in Nigeria is attacking our value system as a people.
The National Broadcast Commission (NBC) which is required by law to "promote Nigeria's indigenous cultures, moral and community life through broadcasting" cannot allow this programme which is objectionable on many accounts to continue to run.
The show promotes pornography with sexual intercourse shown on screen and segments such as the "Shower hour" where contestants are shown bathing naked. The show further promotes the notion that one does not need to work hard to become rich and famous. These definitely attack our moral life and culture. NBC you are empowered to act, ACT NOW!!! Nigerians demand this.
We the undersigned therefore demand that the NBC put a stop to the Big Brother Reality TV show in Nigeria.

The massive surge of support proves that Nigerians are finally fed up with MNET and their blatant disregard for our moral standards. The NBC has run out of excuses to ignore this rot on our screens. We are forcing their hand and they will have to answer for this filth.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. Why is this even allowed on our screens. Get it off now.
This show is pure trash and nothing else. My kids are seeing things they shouldnt be seeing on tv during prime time. It is ruining our culture and the government needs to ban it immediately.

Stop the show altogether it does nothing shows nothing has no morals provides no good behavior and has no wholesome good nature feelings its just another stupid reality show that only a handful of idiots watch and the only reason it is still going is because of the host she is married to a high up in the company boss or vip and he keeps it going for her because hes as they call it wooped another dirty word for it but we will leave it at wooped
