Can you believe your partner/spouse could be Bankrupt WITHOUT telling you Well apparently there is NOTHING in the law to protect you and it is entirely possible! There is no legal obligation for the bankrupt individual or anyone else including the bankruptcy trustee to tell you. The trustee also has no obligation to investigate post bankruptcy assets. Now a mother and her three young children are on the verge of loosing their home because of this injustice! This CANNOT and SHOULD NOT be allowed to happen. Please sign up to show your support, and get as many of your friends to sign up too. It is hoped this petition will be taken to court on 23rd February, in one last attempt to see justice done! Thank you for your support. It is greatly appreciated.
The stories coming to light through the comments section reveal that this lack of legal protection affects far more families than I initially realized. I am currently compiling these experiences to present as evidence of a systemic failure within our current bankruptcy laws.

This is completely wrong. How can someone be left in the dark about something that affects their own home and children like this. Change the law now.

Ridiculous that the law works this way. My heart goes out to that mother and her kids.
