Banfield killed my cat and has harmed so many others. We need them to move out of our community so we can keep our fur babies alive and healthy!

THEY KILLED MY CAT. REFUSED TO SEE HER AFTER THEY GAVE HER BAD MEDS. EVEN ETHICS MANAGER KNOWS THEIR VETS ARE HORRIBLE.

Banfield doesn’t care about our pets all they care about is about is making money. I have had bad experience with my dog in any of the Banfield locations in the area.

Refused my 16 week old puppy a rabies vaccination if I didn’t allow a catheter and IV drip “just in case he had a reaction “

They opened up my poor cat, I thought she was a stray, to spay her, they claimed she had no scar or tattoo, she had to have one or the other. They scanned her, supposedly her whole body, for a chip, they claimed she didn't have one. After that, Iost all confidence in them, switched vets and within 5 mins of her seeing the new vet, they found a chip. After having her for almost 3 yrs, I had to return her. Banfield is an awful place to take your pets.

There are so many things the vet should have done differently in this situation. Banfield needs to acknowledge that this has happened under their company an abundance of times and review their processes because this is unacceptable. 1) they should not have given the medicine to a cat that had a previous reaction in the first place 2) they should have kept the cat longer for observation given the history 3) they should not have told her over the phone that the cat is fine - they should have asked her to bring him back to examine him 4) they should not just be trying to silence her - they should take this seriously and show what they are doing to prevent a reoccurrence of this! My vet does all of this. He partnered up with Banfield several years ago for important financial reasons. I wasn't super happy about it but understood. BUT HE WOULD NEVER HANDLE ANYTHING LIKE THIS. Companies like Banfield have made it hard for the little guys to survive and seem to be more about pumping out volume rather than putting their client's first. Fortunately, my vet didn't let the Banfield name change them into this. Come on Banfield - step up and do the right thing!

Banfield is owned by MARS, Inc who also operates in Petsmart across the country. Our pets are NOT in their best interest as beloved pets are dying at their hands. Stop supporting them financially and hit them where it hurts.. in the pocket. All three should be boycotted at every turn.

Two years ago i vowed to never take my business there or refer anyone after how my dog was treated. I support this petition to get the Wal Mart of vet clinics out of town. What I truly despise is the lack of communication with customers from the corporate level. It’s very obvious by looking at comments on social media pages that they have quite the history. There should be follow ups with customers from district managers when events like this take place. I don’t feel bad for the public relations problems they have bc they do not seek out answers from the pet owners.

No pet should pass away if someone has reported what happened and you continue to use the same procedure it is called neglect!! They neglected to listen and use other measures in this issue and I'm sure others!!
