God, get it done. At the very least enforce a strict ban on use after nov 5th. Year after year the things are going off at all hours pretty much up to new years.

Ban the public sale of fireworks, not only for safety reasons but also for the nuisance and misery they cause to many people and animals, it is bad enough to have them for one night per year but nowdays they are being let off every night in the run up to November 5th as soon as they go on sale and then for many nights afterwards too, then Christmas, New Years, in fact any time of the year!

In my family we refer to it as "annual give douche-bags lethal explosions night"
Too many harmed animals, too little social awareness.

I don't know when the nightmare's gonna stop. Have called the police, noise control but every year, without fail, there are still too many inconsiderate jerks out there trying hard to keep the whole world awake till dawn. This is frustrating and wish the government will really for once, listen to us.

They were fun when i was a child. My parents were always responsible with fire works. But... over the last few days having my neighbours firing them at my appartment and at my car in broad day light not letting them off in the dark like your meant to has really put me off them. Stick to public displays. Ban the private sales!

The stress of keeping my cats safe for weeks, and the lack of sleep affects my health. In the past I've had fireworks thrown at me and my house damaged.

My dog has to be put on medication for a week while people let of fireworks. She hides and shakes terribly. It should be allocated to one area where people can go and watch, then we know it is for one night not many nights of tortoure for our furry friends.
