I am sick and tired of putting up with inconsiderate morons letting off fireworks at random hours of the day and night for months after 5 November. Please ban the sale of fireworks to the public for the sake of the animals, the people who get injured, the people that lose their homes to fires, the animals injured or killed by people deliberately using fireworks on them. Public displays only - Australia have done this for years now successfully.

Every year it is the same, pop pop pop, bang bang bang, right as we need to get to sleep for work, previously the sleep was important to rest for our demanding shift work positions, this year the noise is waking our baby. I am tired of fireworks, it would be ok if they were restricted to Guy Fawkes weekend, but it goes on for at least 3 weeks!

Every year I have to comfort my dogs through out the nights leading up to Guy Fawkes. Fireworks are unsafe and can cause harm and stress our animals. I see nothing wrong with a controlled environment where we can all enjoy. But we should stop purchasing especially as people save these for other occasions and we may not be there for our pets etc.

I have a lovely 10 year old Staffy who loves everyone. He is absolutely petrified of firworks, around Guy Fakes he sleeps in yhe car with the radio on so he can't hear for around 2 weeks as I'm afraid he will have a heart attack.

Some people can no longer be trusted. They are a danger to themselves and others. We as a society must speak up and say:- BAN FIREWORKS !!!
