We can't handle seeing and hearing about the stress and terror the animals have to go through.
It is like being in a war zone - the fireworks are a tons louder that they used to be.

Sleepless nights and terrorised animals. How can we justify this?

Fed up of the terrorism to animals both domestic and wild by the continual fireworks and unlicensed bonfires. My pets are terrified for weeks every year.

We have been woken with loud bangs up to and after midnight each night this week. Hard to sleep. Cats terrorized, babies awake..
I am in Australia at present and wondered why there was no noise on the r5th November. Fireworks ban.

Pre-organised licenced public displays should be the only way people can see fireworks. Private sales = terrified animals, injuries, damaged property and wasted resources. The original meaning of fireworks is not relevant in this day and age. Sure it can be taught in history classes, but the selling of fireworks is unnecessary.

Fireworks cause fires, injuries, terrified animals and deaths to mention just a few. This happens every year. Allowing stupid people access to these dangerous fireworks is rediculous. Get rid of them for good!!

I have seen and heard about so much suffering as a result of this madness...I too had fun as a kid but the reality of the damage these things can do in so many hands is just beyond comprehension. Private use should be banned completely ASAP!!

Feels like we are in a war zone with all the explosions! Terrifying for animals and a nuisance for children and adults trying to sleep. Hate to see the mess and damage to property in the morning, I can't believe these haven't been banned already.
