fire works shd be banned the world over. too many animals are being harmed or killed from them as idiotic humans think its funny to tape them into their mouths or on their bodies.

Celebrations of freedom should be peaceful and safe for all. Fireworks are accidents waiting to happen, usually bringing harm to those not participating with them. Fireworks are noise pollution, I am for the large displays...which are organized and prepped for accidents. Imagine being a bird in the state of washington on the 4th, or any animal. They don't know what is going on. It's a no brainer...how did we come to this? People thinking that playing with mini bombs and fire is fun and a celebratory thing. Be creative..find something new to do..start a new safe tradition to celebrate this beautiful free country we are blessed to live in.

Please stop the selling of fireworks to unlicensed people in Indianapolis. The loud bangs are annoying and start in early june and never quit until July 10 or so.

I feel so terribly sorry for all the wild animals out there who have to live with all the explosions and pollution from the fireworks - it's so inconsiderate.

sick of idiots doing fireworks almost daily. with houses ever closer together, ie no big yards, very annoying to have fireworks going off beside your house while trying to live / sleep etc....

I live in a semi rural are with many animals including horses cows and domestic animals. These are frightened nightly by inconsiderate people letting of fireworks.

I support public displays of fireworks but am heartily sick of individuals letting off loud explosives night after night for weeks after Guy Fawkes. We live in a semi rural area and our animals, both large and small, are needlessly terrified.

It would be OK if it was only one night of fireworks. But it goes on for months around our area.

BAN them from public sale. It is now 27 Nov 2014 and I am STILL having to sedate my panicking dog as fireworks are set off randomly from the huge stockpiles people are permitted to buy. GET RID OF THE SALE OF FIREWORKS!

People can't be considerate with them, we have 2 dogs and for several nights before Guy Fawkes and for 10 nights continuous we had them going off. We still haven't had a weekend without them yet! We have had rockets landing on our lawns, if they landed in our gutters there is potential for a fire. Public displays only!
