I personally narrowly missed complete loss of hearing in my right ear by an exploding fire-cracker in close proximity. I endure deminished hearing sensitivity to this day!

Fireworks are much louder than they used to be. It is terrifying and ridiculous in big cities. One public display a year. They are horrifying.

Poor animals. Restricting sale days doesn't help. Use one day or attend a display. Big fines for use outside those restrictions.

Fireworks can be dangerous in the hands of some. Where i live there is always some idiot sets them off around 2 or 3 am.

Fireworks terrify animals and in domestic settings cause some injuries to children.Professional firework displays only.

I have a border collie dog who is sound sensitive and absolutely terrified of fireworks. She gets very stressed and we have teenagers who set off these fireworks starting in October right through to January and set them off at all times of day and night get them banned right now

The sale of fireworks to the public is against the law. Inforce the law, you don't even need to change ANYTHING, except stop allowing the idiotic loophole where people sign that they are scaring birds off of their farms, PLEEEASE!
