Ban Styrofoam (polystyrene) in Albany County

Although not a current resident of Albany County, I often eat iand shop in Albany. Please ban the use of styrofoam for the health of us all.

Please remove this crapola from our area, from everywhere. I can't believe it is still being used, and more importantly, still being made!

This is very important to me and the environment!

I am not a current resident of Albany County, but fully support this local law.

Costs for all county garbage and town refuse sights will go down. Other businesses will follow. Be a leader.

We have already banned the use of styrofoam at our Voorheesville church for reasons of health, reducing the spread of toxins, and reducing our use of fossil fuels

We have to take protection of our environment into our own hands. Albany Co is the place to start. I have already noticed that many restaurants have moved away from styrofoam let's support their effort by having all the others compete at the same level.

Please ban styrofoam! We need to take care of our planet so we can all live long and healthy lives!

This is way overdue. We should also ban plastic bags and straws as so many other communities have done.

Let's be a progressive community. Ban the styrofoam. It's killing us and the environment.

Hard to believe it's 2018 and this is still an issue...(big sigh). Suppose some look at this as a "freedom" thing - "dagumit it's my choice of environmentally unfriendly crap."

Time to get this done and be leaders for the state Albany should be!

Just returned from Mexico, the whole country is littered with old styrofoam containers, very sad to see traditional drinks served by street vendors in styrofoam cups.

Let's be more forward thinking than our current federal government.
