SWD has single handedly ruined duck hunting in the flooded timber. It has also made it it too easy to shoot ducks simply by buying enough toys, this has incresed overcrowding as well. The woods are full of people who would never be out there without SWD.

We have seen a change in birds over the last few years that is getting worse. They want to just swoop in a hole just as if they are testing to see what happens. I have watched the do it multiple times where 5-0 birds out of a group will swoop down 3 or 4 times before they will commit. Even after they commit the rest of the group will most of the time not follow. I have also watched ducks do this over live birds on the water with no hunters around. i believe SWD's are definitely changing ducks behavior in the woods.

I have made my case with AGFC in the past on banning the SWD'S. I agree with the article to the left as to why we ought to ban SWD'S. It should be natural habitat for the ducks without mechanical devices and put the pressure on the hunters as to whether they have success or not. Bottom line, you have to have the skills it takes to harvest ducks as was done in the past before SWD'S.

SWDs and the giant influx of teenage kids with no mentors and out of state hunters is ruining the hunting on all public WMAs.

Hunting over spinning wing decoys is no different than shooting ducks over bait. It has made it possible for everyone and his brother to kill mallards no matter there skill level. Cant wait for it to end.

The swd's need to be banned everywhere along with the tamie/release operations. Both are very detrimental to our sport.
