I appeal to our lawmakers to ban speed cameras or red light cameras in NYC, to much pepole are getting tickets by going on a yellow light in result of technical problems with the duration of the yellow light.

25 mph is ridiculous for Ocean parkway in Brooklyn. It's a parkway for a reason with 3 lanes. most drivers don't speed on purpose but just following the flow of traffic. A bicyclists does 25 mph.

The right of the people to be secure in THEIR PERSONS, houses, papers, and effects,[a] against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized. We are supposed to have a U.S. Constitutional right to not be spied upon, photographed or recorded in our day to day living which is illegally being ignored. Probable cause of a crime committed and a Warrant is needed before a person loses the right to privacy.

The whole thing is a way for government officials to scam us out of more money, not save our kids. If they want to slow things down, put in speed bumps like they did by Van Buren High School, that's FREE! and it works. Add lights that allow kids to have full right of way to cross for a full two minutes. So that all cars are stopped and kids cross. All this is doing is forcing people on to the side streets where there are many more kids and more kids on bikes! Don't believe me, check out the side street of Queens Village between the hours of 2-6 on weekdays! I am a soccer mom and I think 25 is RIDICULOUS.

There are actually programs in some cities that do sign up motorists to clog up the roadways to slow down the flow of traffic forcing others to obey the speed limits. This doesn't help with safety at all, period. All it serves to do is increase road rage. I digress!
