Everywhere motorists are target for making money to balance the budget line so the mayor can show that he is doing something for the New York residents.

the lowered speed limit simply encourages more reckless jaywalking and general disregard for car traffic. A 17% reduction in speed from 30 to 25 is effectively a 17% tax on NYC economic activity. For what? So car-less folks in Bed-Stuy can treat roads like pedestrian zones?

I often feel myself fuming when I drive these days. I sometimes think that there is a central tower somewhere that dispatches drivers out on the roads to slow the traffic down by generally making a nuisance of themselves. Seems like there are quite a few motorists who are part of the program to slow the flow of traffic. Truly disgraceful!

speed cameras are contrary to innocent until proven guilty. A ticket issued by a police officer identifies the driver. Speed Cameras put vehicle owners in a position to prove they were not driving the vehicle.. I trust professional laew enforcement officers to o enforce the laws. All speed and red light cameras are is just another way to drive revenue from motorists.

im sure it's not going to accomplish much bc all the politician's care about is making revenue under the guise of protecting the public. This city's government reaches into our pockets more than any other city in America.

Furthermore, cameras monitoring my speed are just another violation of my privacy, which I resent. And I doubt this law -- which sounds good -- will make any difference. Just another rule without a benefit.
