Arizona, Ohio and other states have ruled these cameras as nothing more than a revenue producing tactic and is unconstitutional

I find that it is rather distracting to constantly take my eyes off the road to make sure I am not going over the speed limit and be stuck with a random ticket in the mail.

Cameras and low speed limits are solely for the money. The anti-car lobby works at eliminating cars, and they are Non Government Organizations funded with our tax money, stolen from highway funds.

It would have made much more sense to combine reasonable enforcement of this limit with public education and other road modifications. The New York study stated that simply separating the green light for cars from the green for pedestrians (and bikes) would prevent more serious pedestrian crashes than controlling speed. Thus, Vision Zero should be more about making sensible improvements in infrastructure, and much less about speed!

Less than 3 hours after new years struck there was a pedestrian death. The cameras do not help. Teach motorists not to walk in front of moving vehicles.

Received a ticket for traveling at 36 mph. Ridiculous. Plus several cars also traveling around mine. How is it determined which car is ticketed? Mayor DeBlasio and any other politician that supports this foolishness has lost my vote.

It is sooooo ridiculous that the speed limit be reducedone and the lights not be synched to allow u to.travel more than 1 or 2 blocks... And then to have cameras to send out mass tickets is a complete injustice.

We already have enough stress with the g*damn street cleaning ticket, daytime parking ticket, bogus red light, idiot cop pulling us over for no reason, expensive tolls every fu*king where, and now this is another ticket such as speed. NYC getting money hungry and have a bullsh*t soft a** reason to make it more safer. DMV is already killing us with their prices on our car, even insurances. Plus, car are like babies which we have to fix it to maintain it. I can't believe we have to pay $1 for tire air. Smh. USA is becoming money hungry, that why immigrants are going back to their countries.
