Everyday Semi trucks cross over the Pattullo Bridge when they do so they take up two lanes of traffic. This was not the case five years ago. They are typically going slower than the traffic behind them or in front for that matter. If these trucks cannot be driven over this bridge using the single lane in a safe manner they should not be on the bridge at all. This situation is only going to get worse with the advent of tolls on the Portmann Bridge, these drivers will undoubtedly use the Pattullo as a way of avoiding tolls creating even further congestion by taking up two lanes of traffic. The time is now to take action.
