We can still help and support those who are living as homeless while working to rescue/improve the city we live in. Allowing camping in public spaces is not a good option for we; the citizens, nor those who are here and unsheltered in the traditional sense.

Please ban public camping in Federal Way. Allowing it is not compassionate to those in need or to law abiding citizens. I hear of more people are getting guns to protect themselves because of our homeless issues and increased crime.

Our Mayor assured us Seattle’s blight of lawless druggies would not come to FW, yet he assisted in KIng Co purchase of Express Inn next door to our new Town Center and Mirror Lake neighborhood with many many families with children. The citizens of FW were not given notice before the agreement. There is no condition or expectation for entry - drug use will be allowed!!! How will the score their drugs??? Gang/Drug cartels have arrived in our beloved community. This is outrageous!!! There is still time but only if the citizens Stand Up and insist on accountability. The Mayor MUST respond to protecting our city!!!

Call it what you may, I personally would show no remorse anymore the same way more than 80% of the "homeless" community show us. Tired of the blunt disrespect, blind ignorance and heartless demeanor.

This is ridiculous and so unsafe for our families and children. When I don't feel safe to shop or even travel around my own town, something needs to change. With the homeless shelters being offered, there is no reason why people should be allowed to camp on taxpayers public land. Please pass this ban.

I agree that our Mayor and Council need to step up and protect the citizens of Federal Way. I am tired of all the thieving, stolen vehicles & mail. It is a disservice to all of us to have to out up with the drug use and for the mentally ill to be left to do what they want......and especially with the dumb new laws that just went into effect that make it harder for our police to do their job!

My family and I do not feel safe with public camping layering with the growth of homeless. We can't even go to a store off 320th without incident. Something needs to be done.

No hotel for homeless does not work
Keep our families not homeless families are the solution
