Safety before Software:
Ban LanSchool! LanSchool is a computer software that lets teachers to see what their students are doing on the computer, (Or technology) block websites, and even remote control students computers. But...
LanSchool is unsafe and gives students a complete lack of privacy!
LanSchool is unsafe to students. LanSchool can be easily hacked. If LanSchool is hacked, the hacker can find student's passwords and logins, can mess with their online chatting, and can control mouse input.
LanSchool gives students no privacy. If LanSchool is running during break time, the blocked websites are still blocked, even if students can do what they want during break time. Also teachers can control student's computers and go into student's personal files. Students can't prove or know if teachers are controlling their computers so if a teacher controls a student's computer, they could go on an inappropriate website and blame it on the student (Not that a teacher would do that) and the student couldn't prove that it wasn't them.
I am not saying that children don't need supervision and that all software like LanSchool is bad. Students need protection from the unsafe things online and there is many other software that is safe and will let teachers to supervise their students.
LanSchool is unsafe and students should be protected or helped by software, not put in danger.
Please help us ban LanSchool!!!

The school board continues to ignore our warnings about the massive security risks built into LanSchool. My inbox is flooded with accounts from students who feel like they are being watched rather than taught. We are not backing down until this invasive spying software is ripped from our systems.

Very true, I found a log filled with everything about my life including search history, my name and names of family members, and even where they worked. It can easily ruin my life, so ban sue it to the ground!
This software not only spies on you but it also got me in trouble with how buggy it is. A student's email came up when I was downloading a piece of software that I needed and they claimed that I was using the student's email to hack through the school's firewall to get into the site.
My school has LanSchool and it is horrible they didn't even tell the parents nor the students they got it they look on our stuff even if we have a personal laptop and hackers were recently at my school soon after they got LanSchool.
lan school is used to make sure kids are staying on task and not on bad websites. i see that, but some people use lan school as a stalking site and misuse its purpose. please ban it. i always feel like i am being watched on my computer, because i am.
When i'm in school, i'm always afraid someone's gonna watch me through lan school! once when i was in class, my teacher was on lan school, looked at my screen, and SHOWED THE WHOLE CLASS. i completely agree with you and lan school should be banned.

Hello, I'm Professor from a university, and I agree with lanschool being bad, it exploits student's privacy and the same with iboss lets finish the petition, because like he said the teachers can do something and the students can't prove they didn't do it
