If a normal retail trader had done this they most certainly would be in jail. What regulation have they not broken over the last 20 years. What if retail decided to act together and short this bank like they did to silver? Let's take them to $0.

JP Morgan is the very definition of a “criminal enterprise” and they, like any other felon should not be allowed to trade in the commodities market or any other market for that matter. Unfortunately, no amount of fines in the form of currency will stop JP Morgan or the rest of the so called “investment banks” from engaging in this type of criminal behavior because it’s simply too profitable to pass up. That is of course, until the upper management becomes criminally liable AND are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Only then will the manipulation cease to exist. My hope is that prosecution of “spoofing” is just the tip of the iceberg and that we will start to see substantial charges and conviction having to do with the decades of manipulation and price fixing in the metals. Only time will tell....

JPM. It appears that tremendous wealth gets to a different set of rules and work under and a different justice system than others.
I am from Main Street and GREEDY manipulation of the comex should be dealt with swiftly, quickly.

Stop the fines and start jailing the bank CEOs who no doubt are fully aware and even encouraging the manipulations. To put an end to the crimes you have to go after the leaders not the foot soldiers!
