New Zealand is one of the only countries in the world where Greyhound Racing is still legal but we want this changed immediately. Greyhound racing is responsible for over 2600 injuries and 26 deaths according to Emma Brodie who is the campaign manager for SAFE (2024). For the greyhounds who do survive, they are often faced with a lifetime of neglect and cruelty from the industry.
There is no reason for greyhound racing to continue here in New Zealand, so sign this petition now before more of these beautiful animals suffer.
