Greyhound Racing is cruel because it causes tens of thousands of deaths ever year. Some of the trainers also use live baiting. Live baiting is when you use live animals like mice and rabbits as bait. If a trainer is using this method they will starve the dog and make them kill and eat the animal. Some of the trainers kill the dogs, using a gun, if they aren't happy with their Racing scores.

Greyhound racing is a cruel industry. Greyhounds enjoy running, but they do not enjoy being kept in small, barren kennels or killed by lethal injection or by being shot once their racing days are over. They also do not enjoy being used in cruel experiments. The treatment of Spanish greyhounds aka galgos is also cruel. These poor dogs are often killed at the end of the hunting season due to the hunters' belief that it will bring good luck for the next hunting season. They have been found hanging from trees. Some hunters will also try to drown them in wells and/or abandon them after breaking their legs so that they can't follow the hunters home.

Only a sociopath could watch these races knowing how savagely these poor dogs are treated. The photos and videos of this cruelty should be publicized.
