I find it incredible that the Scottish Government, led primarily by the SNP, would allow this dangerous and destructive method of raping the earth for pollution rich fossil fuel when they have spent the last decade polluting the skyline and countryside with acres of wind farms to get away from using fossil fuels. It can only be based on greed!

Because it is unsafe and destroys water supply. The overall impact is devastating and we don't want it!

Please do not pursue fracking in West Lothian, or Forth Valley, or anywhere in Scotland. It's not good enough to say it can be regulated. It's too risky.

This area is not suitable for fracking - too much unknown underworking, too many people living in the area, too many risks to the local water supply, too many chemicals used in the process which have not got known outcomes when in in combination, too many risks of local air pollution. We need to stop using fossil fuels - the future of our planet for future generations deserves better.

Fracking is ecocide and west Lothian council would be guilty if it allowed unconventional gas extraction to commence

There are enough problems going on especially in west Lothian without causing more any more. Don't fix what ain't broken.

Just an other example of the politicians selling out to the US, under TIPP we will not be able to stop it, that is why TIPP has not been in the news until lately, get ready to welcome President Trump!

We don't want it in our beautiful country. There is too high a risk of damage to our environment!
