I don't understand why its taking so long to ban them in Singapore. We could all easily adapt to not having plastic bags. FULL SUPPORT!

the consumption of plastic bags and the amount of such bags washing up on the UK's beaches has decreased enormously since the introduction of charges for these bags. Let's do the same in Singapore!

It's unbelievable how supermarkets pack the bags here. Sometimes I see them put 1 item in on its own. Start charging for bags and people will soon bring their own.

I cant believe that Singapore Food courts use a plastic bag for each meal, and nearly everyone living in Singapore had a food court meal at least once a day. Or a coffee in a plastic packet!

Let's make this change. I'm convinced we can create a world without single use plastics without inconveniencing ourselves too much. Small price to pay for a massive gain. Let's do this!
