The current level of engagement has forced a meeting request with representatives from the FDA regulatory office. Legal counsel is now reviewing our petition data to formalize an official inquiry regarding the safety of these food additives.

If people knew what Carrageenan is, where it comes from, and how large molecules of it can be broken into smaller ones that are very toxic, they would be alarmed it is passed of as GWAS.
I have been deathly sick in my stomach for years. Constant diarrhea!! A nurse friend of mine told to eliminate all carrageenan from my diet. I have, and I can say I am much, much better!! This dangerous food thickener needs to be banned in America. It is a slow killer, causing multiple health problems!! Please get this additive outbid our foods & sign this petition!!!
I was having abdominal pain, sometimes severe, on and off for months. After one bout and the continued presence of the pain, I found out it was because of carrageenan. It has damaged my body and IT MUST BE REMOVED FROM OUR FOOD!!!
Please ban carrageenan from all products
Get the poison out of all our food please
I am allergic! Stop putting this in our food!
This stuff is toxic and everywhere. Please get rid of it!

I have severe reactions to carrageenan. If i ingest even just a little, I suffer severe constipation, abdominal cramps, and blood in my bowels (sometimes extreme amounts). I can't imagine why we are not banning this ingredient, and we are also including it in medecine and even baby formula. This is insane!
