This would be a disaster for Balmain & Rozelle for traffic, parking and general chaos because of long trading hours. Plus what about our local hardware stores?

As a community we should be supporting the local businesses that have supported us. Shop local and not BIG BOX.

This is an unnecessary development. The are is served well for hardware and already has easy access to BUNNINGS. This development is totally out of keep with the area and the traffic is already a big problem in exactly that area.

This is an appalling development. It is a cancerous sore on the beautiful face of Rozelle and should never be allowed to proceed.

I strongly propose a Balmain Bunnings. The peninsular is way too congested to support such a traffic magnet. There is a perfectly adequate Bunnings only 5km away on Parramatta Road. Please have some sense and think about he traffic implications for the area. Absolutely disastrous.

This is not inkeeping with the state governments future plans of a technology and parkland bay precinct.

I do not support the bunnings. It is not needed and will create traffic caos!

A residential area with very light industrial area. Extremely busy road, difficult enough to get off the peninsula alreay. Three Bunnings stores already nearby.

I actually like Bunnings, they're generally a great store with good customer service. But this is a woefully bad location choice. Traffic around here is already a nightmare. I go to a gym on Robert St and on a weekday the entire street is already parked out. 74 parking spaces is nowhere near enough, meaning street parking will get worse and will negatively impact other businesses.
I dont live close enough to be impacted by noise but I still think a 10pm closing time is seriously out of step with the area.
In short - Bunnings I love you but please find somewhere else.

A completely inappropriate proposal for the area.

The proposal is inconsistent with the current direction of the Bay's Precinct Masterplan. If the Power Station is to become a tech hub there will be many preferable employment uses for that site.

We already have a serious traffic flow problem in peak hour which will only be further exacerbated by such a concept!! For this reason I believe this should NOT be permitted as trades/consumers would enter at peak hour times when local residents exit/enter the Rozelle/Balmain peninsula to go to work etc.

There is enough Bunnings in the areas already and the long term impact to the local area cannot justify another one.
No Bunnings
No thanks
