Impossible to even comprehend the traffic this will generate

This is an inappropriate site for the proposed development. Traffic and parking impacts will be enormous and the visual impact is completely contrary to the heritage character of this precinct.

I strongly oppose Bunnings warehouse being allowed to establish an outlet in the Balmain Rozelle location !

Absolutely no need for a Bunnings in this area. Bunnings in Ashfield is close enough. There is already Mitre 10 in Annandale. We have two small local hardware stores already located in Balmain. These are wonderful and discreet.

We are Balmain residents and concerned on the impact of the traffic which is already a nightmare near Roberts Rd!

We already have 2 great hardware stores lets support our independent stores instead. We don't need any more traffic hassles!

This development will add traffic to an already congested area. Further the development is entirely inconsistent with the proposed development of the Bays Precinct.

Balmain does not need more congestion! A cruise ship terminal without consultation is enough. No Bunnings.

It's time for State and Federal Government representatives to stand up for independent business.
It's time to demonstrate the integrity and dedication to your constituents that secured your position in office.
Your own children may aspire to own their own business some day.
Are you prepared to explain how you sold their future to big business?

We don't need Bunnings in our small, narrow, highly congested streets, when we already have more than enough small hardware stores locally, and at least two massive Bunnings within an easy 15 minute drive.

I strongly oppose to allowing Bunnings to be opened in Rozelle
1 because it is suggested opposite a heritage building and
2 because it would further gridlock the already bad exit roads from Balmain peninsula.

Dear Council please stop the Bunnings proposal. Apart from the extra traffic problems in the narrow, already congested streets it will destroy the existing local hardware shops and their investment and livelihoods. The building will also be incongruous with the surrounding architecture of the area. Balmain is a
unique and precious Australian jewel, rich in history and must be preserved for future generations. It is a classic operating museum as is, please do not destroy it. You are the guardians. Please act for all of us. Thanking you Ross Hamilton.

This will create traffic jam hell, trying to make it into Balmain to our homes will be impossible. The proposed daycare centre on Beattie st was rejected as backed up traffic in a small urban space was one of the major issues it created. Balmain and Rozelle are villages, zoned for light commercial and residential. Reject, reject, reject the application!!!!!!!
