Traffic congestion is of major concern. Not enough parking provided.
We need a larger Woolworth's with a larger car park before we need a Bunnings!

It would cause traffic chaos, to an area that is a maximum capacity from just after 6 until 9:30 Monday to Sat.

Please DO NOT allow a franchise megastore into a conservation culturally iconic Neighborhood such as Balmain and Rozelle. It would completely ruin the character of the neighborhood, cause massive traffic congestion and set the white bay development on completely he wrong course. Sydney and Balmain deserve better than this. We already have plenty of beloved local hardware stores and too many small businesses are already at risk in this area. This would destroy them.

The local hardware businesses would definitely suffer and traffic would only increase at an intersection that is already a problematic bottle neck for the area.

It's not needed or required and will be completely out of character for the heritage area and everything that urban growth NSW should stand for. No No No No No

Just greedy monopolies wanting to put ugly buildings selling more "stuff". A big no to Bunnings in Rozelle or anywhere else in the Inner West.

The traffic is already appalling - it takes 20 mins to get off the peninsula via Roberts Street already in morning traffic - why allow this over development in a suburb with narrow terrace lined streets. I go to Bunnings at Ashfield 10 mins away -we don't need another one right here. And we need to protect small business in this area. Please do not approve this development -

No Bunnings - we can go to plenty of other Bunnings near and don't need this one. Small is best for inner city shops

This is an incredibly busy road without the addition of a large format retail box blocking traffic to the Balmain peninsula.
The area also has huge potential for waterfront development with the power station and white bay. A Bunnings would be a sellout from the council short changing residents through a poor development that creates a complete eyesore. We have a huge opportunity here, let's not sell out to Wesfarmers.
We are also served by a number of hardware stores and other retailers, and we would see these business destroyed and our retail zones severely impacted. A really deplorable idea that attacks the very fabric of our neighbourhood.

It's ridiculous thinking about Bunnings in Balmain please.

Absolutely unnecessary for Balmain/Rozwlle. Put this somewhere else.

I object to this development as it is not consistent with the character and residential nature of the already very congested and high density peninsula.

The proposal is completely inconsistent with the adequate entry and exit needs of the Balmain peninsula. The catchment area of the existing Bunnings stores already adequately service this segment of the inner west. The style of business that Bunnings represents does not fit into the heritage style of the peninsula. Bunnings should not be allowed into this precinct on numerous grounds.

The traffic in the area is horrendous already. This will turn it into a carpal

I believe this is nothing more than a cynical squeeze on existing smaller operators and will also cause traffic mayhem on one of only 3 roads out of Balmain which is already overburdened with traffic.

Still more attempts to destroy Rozelle and Balmain. This development proposal should be thrown out without even being considered!
