This is a completely unsuitable proposal. Traffic is already a massive problem and there are Bunnings stores so close to us here. In addition to this Bunnings are not selling wood from sustainable sources, so this is not the sort of company supported on the Balmain Peninsular.

Bunnings is patronised solely by people in private vehicles,There needs to be a balance struck between private and public transport and this will not achieve this.Totally inappropriate site already choking with traffic.

As a local resident we struggle with parking as it is, to have the likes of a Bunnings move in to area would only exacerbate the issue.
There is Bunnings on Parramatta Rd not far away so definitely no need for one

The traffic impacts will be extraordinarily high for surrounding streets and intersections. 74 Carspace also unacceptable.

This proposal is not fit for the area given the existing traffic issues and the negative affect it will have on local business. There is no need for a Bunning's in the area and it will be obvious the the locals did not ask for one nor do they want one

The Bunnings will cause chaos for commuters and, most importantly, residents.

This proposal will only benefit Bunnings. There will be no net benefit for the people living in the Balmain /Rozelle area

No need to repeat all the arguments why this is a bad proposal and must be denied by Council. I agree with them all. Starbucks tried this a few years ago, set up their business on Darling Street and quickly closed up shop when they were boycotted by local residents!

This proposal is simply unbelievable. It's hard enough to get off the peninsular at the best of times. Do not allow this.

The traffic leading into mullens street every day and night makes me late for every life event as it is, our family cannot cope with more traffic, we will have to move home which is absurd considering it will be because of a shop not needed.

This is out of character to the area and will generate an unacceptable volume of traffic through the local surrounding communities

The residents and local businesses in that area are shut at having dinner at home by 6pm. Why would Bunnings be given the right to destroy local families standard of living with traffic, trucks, noise, signage and illumination 7 days a week until 10pm. Are you kidding me?

That corner is already chocked with traffic during peak hours. Placing Bunnings on that corner would block access to the local residents of Rozelle and the Balmain peninsula

A Bunnings would destroy our little unique heritage/conservation area forever.

I live off the proposed block. It would negatively impact my families lifestyle and wellbeing. Absolutely NO BUNNINGS in Rozelle/Balmian.

I am strongly opposed to this Bunnings development as it will have a very detrimental effect on the local shopping area which is the 'heart and soul' of our community. This development will totally overshadow other retail outlets in the area, putting the area out of balance.
