Thanks for signing the petition Hamish. There is a local hardware store - The Hardware Store on Evans St which is why we DON'T need a Bunnings :)

Ridiculous. We already have some great local hardware stores - we don't need them closing down because of Bunnings. And there are plenty of Bunnings stores close by. There is no way Rozelle needs Bunnings. The overall amenity impact will be terrible for the area, with no corresponding upside.

as much as id like a bunnings closer, rozelle is jam packed as it is and definitey does need a bunnings anywhere near it. bring in a local hardware store!

it can't happen its just ridiculous your not far from ashfield bunnings and lost of development to housing and apartments plus its an eye sore for a heritage listed area its just plain awful

The charm of the Rozelle Balmain peninsula involves a village atmosphere. That's why people like to live here, and visit. We support local business. This "chain store" would kill AT LEAST 4 small local independents who service our community - and employ our local people.
No matter how "small" Bunnings thinks it is, we don't need another hardware store flogging cheap junk and clogging our streets with extra traffic. We are quite happy to travel to Ashfield if we want to visit Bunnings.

I object to the da lodged by Bunnings to construct a store in Balmain. Such a store is not in keeping with the village of Balmain. There is not enough parking and the other small businesses that are hardware stores will eventually close.

I lived in Ashfield and suffered from the chaos Bunnings imposes on Frederick Street. That can't happen in Rozelle.

The last thing we need is a big Bunning store in rozelle. This is not right for the area and will cause loads of extra cars on the very full roads. How will delivery trucks get in? Where will people park? There are 2 Bunning stores near by and adding another one to this area is totally wrong and not right for this area. Perhaps the next thing is to add a Myers store here as well!
